• Important: The following systems are supported by Presentation Director version 3.02 or later.
  
  • ThinkPad R60, R60e
    
  • ThinkPad T60, T60p
    
  • ThinkPad X60, X60s, X60 Tablet
    
  • ThinkPad Z61e, Z61m, Z61p, Z61t
    
• (New) Change to show "Presenter Mode" in Fn+F7 On-Screen menu as default.
  
• (Fix) Move icons to XGA even if the screen resolution is not changed.
  
• (Fix) Fail to capture the current settings ('Capture' button) when the notebook LCD resolution is smaller than the attached external monitor.

• The following utilities are also required to enable the Fn + F7 function:
  • ThinkPad Power Management Driver V1.21 or later
  • ThinkPad On Screen Display Version 3.00 or later. This program is included in Hotkey Features package V1.02.0271 or later.
    
    
• If you have ThinkPad Configuration version 1.24 or earlier , it is recommended to upgrade the following packages:
  • ThinkPad Configuration package version 1.30 or later
  • ThinkPad Battery MaxiMiser and Power Management Features package version 1.30 or later
  • ThinkPad EasyEject Utility version 1.30 or later
    
    
• If you install a newer version after uninstalling previous version, reboot the system after uninstallation.
• For ThinkPad T23 systems, BIOS Version 1.15 (1AET59WW) or later is required to integrate the Fn + F7 hot key function.
• For ThinkPad A30 and A30p systems, BIOS version 1EET70WW (1.16) or later is required to integrate the Fn + F7 hot key function.
• For ThinkPad G41 Systems, ThinkPad Display Driver (NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200) Version 6.2.2.7 or later is required.
  

• If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.

This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.

[Downloading file]

1. Click once on the underlined file name. Once this is done, some pop-up windows will appear.
2. In this pop-up window, choose (using the left mouse button) the directory you would like to download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete without your assistance.
3. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.
4. After being downloaded, the file will need to be extracted.

5. Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
6. Locate the file that was just downloaded and double click it using the left mouse button.
7. The file will begin to extract in the directory where the downloaded file is located.

[Installing files]

8. Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
9. Open an Explorer and locate the directory where the files were extracted.
10. Double-click SETUP file.
11. Follow the instructions on the screen.
12. Restart the computer.
    
    

1. Refer to the "Manual Install" section, and download and expand the files.
2. At the command line, execute SETUP.EXE with the -S -SMS options.
   Example: [Program Path]\SETUP.EXE -S -SMS
   

1. Start Presentation Director.
2. Click New Scheme... button on "Manage Presentation Director Settings" screen to display Presentation Director Wizard first page.
3. You will see the version information on the screen.
