This driver is for use with Microsoft Windows 98 only.
No device drivers are required to install the Memory Key in Microsoft Windows Me, Microsoft Windows 2000, or Microsoft Windows XP because these operating systems have built-in support for the USB Memory Key.
Installation instructions
To install the Memory Key in Windows Me, 2000, XP:
Turn on the computer and start Windows.
Plug the Memory Key into the USB connector. The Memory Key will be displayed as a drive icon in the My Computer window. It is now ready to be used.
To install the Memory Key in Windows 98:
Turn on the computer and start Windows.
Run the USBMEMKEY.EXE file to extract the files to the system hard disk drive.
Plug the Memory Key into the USB connector. The New Hardware Wizard window will open.
Click Next in the New Hardware Wizard window.
Select Search for the best driver for your device and click Next.
Select Specify Other Location and enter the path where the drivers were extracted to and click the Next button. The default location of the drivers is: C:\DRIVERS\USB\MEMKEY.
Follow the on-screen instructions. The Memory Key will be displayed as a drive icon in the My Computer window. It is now ready to be used.
