IdeaCentre Q180 not powering off
Symptom

When shutting down Windows 7 the shutdown sequence completes but system power light stays ON and the system fan will continue to spin.

Affected configurations

The above symptom may occur to the following systems:

IdeaCentre Q180 with Windows 7 32/64 bit

Solution

1. Go to "Device Manager" --> "Network Controllers".

2. Right Click on the Ethernet Controller and go to "Properties".

3. Click on the "Advanced" Tab, scroll down in the "Properties" Window and click on "Wake on Magic Packet", you should see the "Enabled" option come up in the window next to "Properties", Click to "Disabled".
