Notes:
You may need to re-enter security information after updating the Wireless LAN driver.
AMT 4.2 or later must be used for Wireless Intel AMT capabilities. If AMT 4.1 or earlier version is used, Intel Wireless LAN driver must be version 12.x. You have nothing to do with that without using the AMT.
If you use ThinkVantage Access Connections, the following software must be installed. [For ThinkPad SL300, SL400, SL400c, SL500, SL500c]

[For Windows Vista only] Before installing this software, you should install Windows Vista fix module KB932063. The detail information and how to obtain the KB932063 module is located in the following Microsoft's site. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932063/en-us
To verify if the KB932063 module is installed properly,
Click Start, then click Control Panel.
Find 'Programs and Features' and click. If this option does not exist on the window, choose Classic View to find it.
On 'Tasks' pane, click on "View installed updates".
Verify that KB932063 is included in the list of installed updates.
[For Windows XP only] Make sure that the following driver prerequisite were installed on your system before installing this driver:
If you currently use IEEE 802.1x authentication on Windows XP Service Pack 1 and do not use WPA encryption, Lenovo recommends you to uninstall Q826942 (WPA Supplicant update rollup package in Windows XP) and Q815485 (WPA Wireless Security Update in Windows XP).
This does not apply if you are running Windows XP Service Pack 2.
To check if Q826942 or Q815485 is installed and to uninstall it:
Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
Click Start and then click Control Panel.
Click Add or Remove Programs.
Click Windows XP Hotfix (SP2) Q826942 or Windows XP Hotfix (SP2) Q815485 if it is listed under Currently installed programs.
Click Remove and follow the instructions on the screen.
If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.
Manual Install
This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Explorer.
[Downloading file]
Click once on the underlined file name with the left mouse button. Once this is done, some pop-up windows will appear.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
In the window to choose Run or Save, click the Save button.
Choose the folder you would like to download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.
[Extracting file]
Make sure to be logged on with administrative account.
Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
In the "Select Destination Location" window, click Next. If you would like to select a different folder, click Browse.
In the "Ready to Install" window, click Install. All the necessary files will be extracted to the folder selected in the step 9.
[Installing files]
Make sure the checkbox next to "Install ..... now" is checked and click Finish.
Follow the instructions on the screen. Note: If you use ThinkVantage Access Connections, Intel PROSet/Wireless component needs to be installed as pre-selected during the above procedure.
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart the computer.
Finally delete the file saved in Step 4.
Silent Install
Note: This is intended for system administrators only.
Refer to the "Manual Install" section, and download and extract the file.
In the step 11 of the "Installing files" section, uncheck the checkbox next to "Install ..... now", and then click Finish to cancel installation.
At the command line, execute Autorun.exe with the /QN option. Example: [Path where the files were extracted]\Autorun /QN
Uninstallation Instructions

If winlogon.exe error or any problem occurs after uninstalling the software, re-install any version of the software for problem solving.
