1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

1. Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files and folders.
2. Type q9tpm01ws17.exe in the search field, then click Search or Find Now. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3. Double-click the q9tpm01ws17.exe icon.
4. Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
6. Click Next. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to c:\swtools\drivers\tpm\q9tpm01ws17.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Finish.

This package contains the files required to install the TPM Device Driver on systems with an on-board Nuvoton TPM 1.2 device.

You must have administrator privileges to install/update the driver.

• Instructions:
  • For Silent install:
    - Run:
    <package path>\setup.exe -s -i <package path>\TPM_Installer.msi where <package path> stands for the full path to the package folder.
• For Silent uninstall:
  • Run:
    <package path>\setup.exe -s -u <package path>\TPM_Installer.msi where <package path> stands for the full path to the package folder.
• For logging while installing or uninstalling:
  • Run:
    <package path>\setup.exe -s -[i|u]
    <package path>\TPM_Installer.msi -l <log file>
    where <package path> stands for the full path to the package folder. and <log file stands for the full path to log file including log file
    name.

During intallation process the intaller modifies the registry according to the following rules:

• Success/Failure indication in the key
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Nuvoton Technology Corporation\TPM Device Driver
  with the values:
  Key Type = String / REG_SZ
  Key Entry = “install”
  Key Value = “success” OR “failure”
• Current installation version in the key
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Nuvoton Technology Corporation\TPM Device Driver
  with the values:
  Key Type = String / REG_SZ
  Key Entry = “version”
