[Install Optimus Drivers (Intel and NVIDIA Drivers for Windows 8)]
Boot Windows 8 and logon with administrative privileges.
Copy the ZIP file to your HDD, for example C:\TEMP, then unzip it. If you are using PKUNZIP (D0S), specify '-d' option.
Open Command Prompt window as Administrator.
Change directory to where the driver was unzipped in step 2.
Run Setup.bat
If "Hardware installation" or "Software installation" window appears, click on Continue Anyway.
Restart the system.

Boot Windows 8 and logon with administrative privileges.

(a) For NVIDIA: From the root directory of the extracted package, change directory to NVIDIA folder. (b) For Intel: From the root directory of the extracted package, change directory to Intel folder.
Locate SETUP.EXE, then double click to run it.
Follow the instructions on the screen. If "Hardware installation" or "Software installation" window appears, click on Continue Anyway.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Restart the system.
Uninstallation Instruction
[Uninstall Optimus Drivers]
Uninstall NVIDIA Display Driver. Please refer to 'Uninstall NVIDIA Drivers'.
Uninstall Intel Display Driver. Please refer to 'Uninstall Intel Drivers'.
Restart the system.

Open Control Panel.
Double-click the 'Programs and Features' icon.
Select the "NVIDIA Drivers" item in the listbox.
Click the 'Uninstall' button to remove the display driver.
[Uninstall Intel Drivers]
Open Control Panel.
Double-click the 'Programs and Features' icon.
Select the "Intel(R) Graphics media Accelerator Driver" item in the listbox.
Click the 'Uninstall' button to remove the display driver. The utilities should be removed as well if they were installed with the driver.
How to change the Resolution and Color Depth

Right-click on desktop then select "Screen resolution" from the pop up menu.
Select resolution.
[Color Depth]
Right-click on desktop then select "Screen resolution" from the pop up menu.
Click on Advanced settings.
Go to Monitor tab.
Select color depth.
Determining which Version is Installed
Boot Windows.
Open Device Manger.
Right click on 'NVIDIA NVS 3100M' or 'Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator HD' under Display adapters. Select Properties.
Click on 'Driver' tab. Then you will see the Driver Version.
