SYMPTOM:
When you are typing on your keypad, the mouse cursor suddenly moves to other direction.
AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:
The above symptom may occur on the following systems:
All Idea Laptops with ALPS Touchpad
VALID REGIONS/COUNTRIES:
Worldwide
SOLUTION:
1. Right click on the Touchpad Icon from the taskbar --> select "Mouse Properties" from the menu list.
2. From the Mouse Properties Windows, select the "Tapping" Tab. You will be able to see "Typing" option below.
3. Check/Tick the "Tapping Off when Typing". And change the setting of "Delay after last key is hit:" to "Long". See Fig.1.

4. Reboot the machine and try again.
Note:
This "Tap off when typing" feature does not affect the left and right mouse click function and touchpad zone tapping feature.
