SYMPTOM:
Right-click a folder in the partition, select "Properties", and cancel "Read-only", however you will find that it is still there when you open the "Properties" again.
AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:
The above symptom may occur on the following systems:
All Idea Laptops
All Idea Desktops
SOLUTION:
The above symptom is probably caused by security settings.
Right click on the partition à select "Properties" à click the "Security" tab à edit permission for "Administrators" à check "Full Control". (You can also change the permission for a specific user.)
In addition, you can create an "Everyone" account and set up its permission as "Full Control" as well.
