STATEMENT DESCRIPTION:

How to switch G470 graphics in Windows 7

AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:

The above symptom may occur on the following system:

Lenovo G470

VALID REGIONS/COUNTRIES:

Worldwide

SOLUTION:

1. Run any program (taking Lenovo YouCam as an example, see Fig.1)

2. Right-click on the free space of the desktop and select "Configure Switchable Graphics".

3. A window will pop up, see Fig.3.

4. Click the button to select "High Performance" in "Recent Applications" and then click "Apply".

In this window, you could also configure graphics for other applications, but you need to find out the directory locating the program.

Note:

Lenovo G470 has no physical graphics switch button.
