IdeaCenter A300 shows no web-cam found when user tries to use Lenovo Camsuite Application.

SYMPTOM:

Machine web-cam is not detected by machine. When user tries to use camera in lenovo cam suite , a prompt says web-cam is not found. While trying to use activate camera through Skype or Messenger it will show a blank black image without capturing user face.

AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:

The above symptom may occur on the following system:

IdeaCenter A300

Under the following operating system:

Microsoft Windows 7

SOLUTION:

1. Go to "Device Manager".

2. Search for imaging devices.

3. Expand the imaging device category.

4. Uninstall the device that is under imaging device category.

5. Restart machine and try again on lenovo camsuite.
