SYMPTOM:

Error message " This product can only be installed on a Lenovo desktop" occurs when you install "Power2Go 2008".

AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:

The above system may occur on the following software:

Power2Go 2008

SOLUTION:

1. From the "readme" file in the disk, you will see the suggestion: "Before installing the program, please run "pctype.exe" under PCType to register your copy of the software".

2. Open "PCType" à run "PCType.exe".

3. Click "Write" to finish the registration. Then go back to the"Power2go2008" folder, click "setup" to install.
