sTATEMENT description :
How to look over information about NVIDIA display system through the display adapter driver ( taking NVIDIA GeForce8/9 series displays for example )
AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:
The above statement applies to all machines bundled with NVIDIA graphic chip.
SOLUTION:
Windows XP
1. Right-click on the blank space of the desktop and then choose "NVIDIA Control Panel" . See Fig.1:

3. Right click "System Information" in the bottom left corner. See Fig.3 :

Note: The memory under display adapter card refers to the video memory, and the memory interface is the bit width.
Windows Vista
1. Right-click on the blank space of the desktop and then choose "NVIDIA Control Panel" . See Fig.5.

2. When the NVIDIA Control Panel is firstly opened, choose the "Standard Settings" of the following interface, and then click "OK". See Fig.6:
3. Right click "System Information" in the bottom left corner. See Fig.7 :

The version of new display adapter card drive should be upper than version 180, or else the system information will be illustrated as shown in Fig.9:
