Symptom
No icons are displayed in Microsoft Windows XP Control Panel Classic View. The system may lock up when switching between Classic and Category views or may hang when trying to open Network Connection in Control Panel.

Affected configurations
Any ThinkPad preloaded with DLA versions before version 4.6 and running Microsoft Windows XP Home or XP Professional.
