The CD-RW/DVD is configured as a slave device with the hard drive set to master with both devices on the same cable.

1. Replace the CD-RW/DVD drive with FRU 40Y8903.
   or
2. Where the system configuration permits, configure the CD-RW/DVD drive as master, either on its own IDE cable or with another optical disc drive as slave.
   
   Note: A hard drive should not be configured as slave to an optical disc drive master.
