IBM Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore - Backup Fails

IBM Rapid Restore Ultra backups may fail if it encounters a corrupt file.

Affected configuration
IBM systems supported by IBM Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore, running Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP, configured with IBM Rapid Restore Ultra

View the list of systems supported by IBM Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore.

View the c:\engine.log file to determine which file has caused the failure. After opening the file, advance to the end of the file and the file name will be identified. You will need to manually remove this file from the hard disk drive before a successful backup can be made.
