SYMPTOM:

Some customers feedback that when IdeaPad Y430 is connected to the LCD TV, there is display on the TV, yet no sound output, after reinstalling the newest audio driver, it doesn't work either.

AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:

The above symptom may occur on the following systems:

IdeaPad Y430

SOLUTION:

This problem occurs when "Sound and Audio Devices" is mistakenly set.

Click "Start" à "Control Panel" à choose "Sound and Audio Devices", click "Audio" à choose "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" à click "OK"

Replay the media, the problem has been resolved.
