No way to disable "Fast User Switching" - Notebooks
Symptom
Microsoft Windows Vista turns on the "Fast User Switching" feature by default and provides no option to disable it. There is no "Change the way users log on or off" under User Accounts in the Control Panel as there is in Windows XP.

Affected configurations
Any ThinkPad or 3000 Family notebook running Windows Vista.

Solution
There is currently no solution.

Additional information
This is due to the design of Windows Vista. "Fast User Switching" cannot be disabled by default in Windows Vista. Windows Vista has a new feature called "Session 0 Isolation" that requires all applications to be compatible with "Fast User Switching." There is no need to disable this feature.
