Symptom

When playing a DVD in Windows Media Player with a external monitor attached, toggle the screen by pressing Fn+F7. Observe that an error message Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card window as shown below will be displayed.

ThinkPad (All types)
Lenovo 3000 notebook (All types)

Cause

This is a limitation of Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1.
