Symptom The Client Security Software User Verification Manager Login Window is not appearing after generating new hardware keys from control panel > IBM Embedded security subsystem > Key configuration > Generate new hardware keys and restart the system. Additional information: - Install CSS and complete the setup wizard.
- Enable the option "Replace the standard windows logon with UVM secure logon".
- Generate new hardware keys from control panel > IBM Embedded security subsystem > Key configuration > Generate new hardware keys.
- Restart the machine.
- Check the login screen window.
Solution None. Workaround Enable the option "Replace the standard windows logon with UVM secure logon" manually from control panel > IBM Embedded security subsystem > Configure application support and policies.
