Cookies are text files sent by a Web server to an Internet browser and then sent back unchanged by the browser every time it accesses that particular server. Cookies are used for authenticating, tracking, and maintaining specific information about users, such as site preferences and settings.

Most modern browsers grant the user the option of accepting all, some, or no cookies at all. Below you will find information on how to enable and/or disable cookies in some of the most popular browsers in use today.

1. Click Tools, then click Internet Options.
   
2. Click the Privacy tab.
   
3. Under Settings, click the Advanced button.
   
4. Check the box Override automatic cookie handling.
5. Under First-party Cookies, select Accept, Block, or Prompt.
6. Under Third-party Cookies, select Accept, Block, or Prompt.
7. To allow session cookies, check Always allow session cookies.
   
8. Click OK, then click OK to exit.

3. Click the Custom Level button.
4. Find the Cookies section.
5. To enable cookies, click Allow cookies to be stored on you computer, then click Allow per-session cookies.
