Integrated camera may fail to initialize - Lenovo N100
Symptom
Lenovo N100 integrated camera may fail to initialize and give error message or blank screen (all white or black screen).

Affected configuration
Any of the following Lenovo N100 systems:
  • 0689-xxx
  • 0768-xxx
Solution
  1. Make sure the latest PC Camera Driver for Windows XP - Lenovo N100 is installed.
  2. Close any unused applications to free memory and try to re-open the camera preview window.
  3. Close applications in the task bar and try to re-open the camera preview window. Reboot the N100 system.
