Solution
Ensure that the RDX Diagnostic Utility program is installed. This is available on the Software and User Guide CD distributed with the RDX data cartridge option.
The RDX Diagnostic Utility program included on the Software and User Guide CD acts as the following:
A removable disk utility that provides basic diagnostic test capabilities
An application update that enables the eject button to operate correctly on Windows operating systems
An application that enables the right-click eject to operate in user mode on Windows operating systems
Notes:
If the RDX Diagnostics Utility program is not installed on your server, the eject button and the right-click eject method might not work.
You must log in with administrator privileges to install the software.
If you are using the Windows Server 2008 operating system, before installing the RDX Diagnostics Utility program, make sure that your server has the Windows Desktop Experience feature.
To install the software on Windows operating systems, do the following:
Save any open documents and exit all applications.
Insert the Software and User Guide CD and do one of the following: - If the CD starts automatically, go to step 3. - If the CD does not start automatically, go into My Computer or Computer to browse the CD/DVD drive, and then select Install RDX Diagnostic Utility or double-click RDXUtil.exe.
