Note: This issue is fixed by video driver which is downloaded from nvidia web site

- Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
- When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
- Remove any versions of WinDVD other than 8.xx.
- Ensure that a Lenovo version of WinDVD 8.xx is present.
[Windows Vista]
- Click Start, then click Start Search.
- Type filename downloaded in the "Downloading the update" section in the search field, then click Search Everywhere. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
- Double-click the EXE file icon. You may see a dialog stating "A program needs your permission to continue". If you see this dialog, click Continue.
- Follow all onscreen prompts and reboot your system when done.

- Click Start, click Search, then click All files and folders.
- Type filename downloaded in the "Downloading the update" section in the search field, then click Search. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
- Double-click the EXE file icon.
- Follow all onscreen prompts and reboot your system when done.

- Run WinDVD 8 from the Start menu.
- Right-Click in any empty ares on the lower control panel.
- Select About WinDVD from the pop up menu.
- Interpret the data as follows:

- WinDVD 8 cannot play DVD-Audio discs.
- Video can black when drag WinDVD to HDCP on Nvidia systems
- When minimizing or maximizing the video window, desktop icons will flicker
- Some white pixels can be left on the screen when the video window changes aspect ratio
- Repeatedly minimizing and maximizing the window can cause the video window to draw black
