1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

1. Remove any versions of WinDVD other than 8.xx.
2. Ensure that a Lenovo version of WinDVD 8.xx is present.

[Windows Vista]

1. Click Start, then click Start Search.
2. Type filename downloaded in the "Downloading the update" section in the search field, then click Search Everywhere. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3. Double-click the EXE file icon. You may see a dialog stating "A program needs your permission to continue". If you see this dialog, click Continue.
4. Follow all onscreen prompts and reboot your system when done.

[Windows XP]

1. Click Start, click Search, then click All files and folders.
2. Type filename downloaded in the "Downloading the update" section in the search field, then click Search. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3. Double-click the EXE file icon.
4. Follow all onscreen prompts and reboot your system when done.

To install this package silently use the following command:

1. Run WinDVD 8 from the Start menu.
2. Right-Click in any empty ares on the lower control panel.
3. Select About WinDVD from the pop up menu.
4. Interpret the data as follows:

• WinDVD 8 cannot play DVD-Audio discs.
• Video can black when drag WinDVD to HDCP on Nvidia systems
• When minimizing or maximizing the video window, desktop icons will flicker
• Some white pixels can be left on the screen when the video window changes aspect ratio
• Repeatedly minimizing and maximizing the window can cause the video window to draw black
