This package will detect and configure the pointing device (Synaptics) under Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit.

Supported systems:
- 3000 N200 (Machine type 0769)

Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click this package to extract it onto the hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Vista\TCHPSY
  3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.exe with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
    For example, C:\DRIVERS\Vista\TCHPSY\SETUP.exe
    For unattended install, type C:\DRIVERS\Vista\TCHPSY\SETUP.EXE /sw
  5. Follow the instructions on screen.
    • If the message, "An unidentified program wants access to your computer" appears,click Allow to continue installing.
    • If the message "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software" appears, click Install this driver software anyway to continue installing.
    • If the message "This program might not have installed correctly" appears , click This program installed correctly to finish installing.
  6. If needed, restart the system.

Uninstallation instructions
  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Click Uninstall a program under "Programs".
  4. Select Synaptics Pointing Device Driver, and then click Uninstall/Change. If the message, "User Account Control" appears, click Continue.
  5. If the message, "After removing...system must be rebooted" appears, click OK. Device Driver will be uninstalled automatically.
  6. If the message, "Close all open applications,then restart windows" appears, click OK.
  7. If needed, restart the system.
