This package enables or upgrades the audio function of ADI Audio for Microsoft Windows Vista users. The following audio device is integrated into your system:

- SoundMAX Audio

This package enables or updates the audio function on the following systems:

- 3000 N100 (all models except 0689-Exx, Fxx, Gxx and 0768-Exx, Fxx, Gxx)

Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AUDIO.
  3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. The device driver will be installed automatically.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE
  5. If the message, "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software" appears, click Install this driver software anyway to continue installing.
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  7. Reboot the system to complete the installation.

Unattended install
This procedure is intended for system administrators use only.
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
  3. Specify "SETUP.EXE -s" with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and press Enter. The device driver will be installed automatically.
  4. If the message, "Digital Signature Not Found" appears, click OK to continue installing.
  5. Reboot the system to complete the installation.

Uninstalling the driver
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Start, click Control Panel, then click Programs.
  3. Under Programs and Features, click Uninstall a program.
  4. Right-click SoundMAX and select Uninstall.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
