This package installs a Windows XP device driver for the National Semiconductor TPM module that comes preinstalled in select systems.

This package requires approximately 3MB of space on your hard drive.

You must have administrator privileges to install or update the driver.

This package is intended for any of the following systems that shipped with the National Semiconductor TPM module:

- ThinkCentre A52 (type 8153, 8154, 8155, 8156, 8157, 8158, 8159, 8160, 8161, 8162, 8163, 8164, 8165, 8166, 8167, 8168, 8169, 8170)
- ThinkCentre M52 (type 8099, 8110, 8111, 8112, 8113, 8114, 8115, 8116, 8211, 8212, 8213, 8214, 8215, 9210, 9211)

Downloading the update
  1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
  2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
Extracting the update
  1. Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files and folders.
  2. Type q1tpm02us13.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
  3. Double-click the q1tpm02us13.exe icon.
  4. Click Next. Read the license agreement.
  5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
  6. Click Next. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\NSCTPMDriver\q1tpm02us13.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Finish.
Installing the update
  1. Click Start, then click Run.
  2. Type C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\NSCTPMDriver\q1tpm02us13\Setup.exe, then click OK. The setup program will run. Follow all onscreen prompts to complete the driver installation.
