The ThinkPad 240Z system does not support the On Screen Display however, it does require the Screen Magnifier module(s) contained within this package. Click here to access the On Screen Display Fix Pack for Windows 95/98/Me/NT 4.0/2000 which is also required.

II. Installation instructions
For the versions with suffix i
Note: If On Screen Display is already installed on your system, check the version number. In case that the previous version is earlier than 2.24i, you need to install the latest version of the ThinkPad Utility.

1. Start Windows 95/98/Me/XP, or start Windows NT 4.0/2000 and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\ONSCR\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click the OK button.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
4. Click ThinkPad On Screen Display and click Add/Remove.
5. Follow the instruction on the screen.

1. Start Windows.
2. Click Start, select Find, then click Files or Folders.
3. Click the Name & Location tab.
4. Type in tponscr.dll in the Named field. And select My Computer in the Look in field.
5. Click Find Now. The computer will find out the file in your system. If the file is not found, the program is not installed on your system.
6. Click the found file and press the right mouse button.
7. Click Property. Then TPONSCR.DLL Property appears.
8. Click Version tab.
9. The Product Version expresses this package version. This version information shows the version as x.xx format.
