This package provides the display driver for Microsoft Windows XP users.

This package enables or updates the display function of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad R32

Note: This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.

Presentation Director allows you to create and edit display schemes that configure display device settings and system settings such as resolution screen savers and Power Management shut off timers.

I. Summary of changes

II. Installation instructions
Note: Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility for Windows 2000/XP 3.40.1002 or later version should be installed prior to installing this video driver.
  1. Start Microsoft Windows XP and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
  3. Click Start and then click Run.
  4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click the OK button. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
  5. When the Welcome window appears, click the Next button.
  6. At the Software License Agreement screen, if you agree, click Yes.
  7. At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now.
  8. Click Finish, then reboot the system.

Unattended installation
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
  3. Click Start and then click Run.
  4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WXPDISPLAY\SETUP.EXE -S and click OK.

III. Determining which version is installed
  1. Start Windows XP.
  2. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
  3. Click Appearance and Themes.
  4. Click the Display icon.
  5. Click the Settings tab.
  6. Click the Advanced button.
  7. Select Options. The version number is located in the Version Information field.
