ExpressCache V1.0.94 could not work after upgrade OS from Windows 7 to Windows 8

Steps to duplicate:
1. Install ThinkPad 16GB mSATA Solid State Cache Drive hardware to ThinkPad system with Windows 7 OS. 
2. Install ExpressCache software 1.0.94 version.
3. Upgrade OS from Windows 7 to Windows 8.
4. The Cache function of ThinkPad 16GB mSATA Solid State Cache Drive will not work normally --> Issue

Affected configurations

The following Lenovo product:

  • ThinkPad 16GB mSATA Solid State Cache Drive
  • Option PN: 0B47309
  • Software: ExpressCache 1.0.94
  • System: T430, T530, W530, T430s, X230, X230T, L430, L530,X131e, E130, E330, E430, E530, S430,S230u
Additional Information



1. Un-install ExpressCache Software version 1.0.94.
2. Restart system
3. Re-install ExpressCache Software version 1.0.94.
