SimpleTap cannot access the camera device. In Windows, only one application may access the camera device at any time. If another application (such as Skype) is already accessing the camera device, then SimpleTap will not be able to access the camera device as well. Instead of displaying a camera window, SimpleTap will only display a black box without any camera image in it.

ThinkPad computers running SimpleTap version 1.0 or 1.1.

Stop the application that is currently using the camera, and then select SimpleTap.
