Access Connections fails to enable WiMax radio - ThinkPad

Symptom

When the Intel WiMax 5150 or 5350 card has been disabled in Device Manager, Access Connections fails to enable the device if the connection fails and the Repair button is pressed.

Affected configurations

All ThinkPads running on Microsoft Windows Vista configured with ThinkVantage Access Connections may be affected by this symptom.

Solution

When the Repair button is used, it should enable the disabled device.

Upgrade to the Access Connections 5.20 or higher for Windows Vista.
