This fix is to solve the non functioning "/?" key on the keyboard of Thinkpads in Brazil after installing a Non-Preloaded Operating System.
Any ThinkPad system from the following series running a Non-Preloaded Windows 7, Vista or XP.
- ThinkPad Edge Series
- ThinkPad L and SL Series
- ThinkPad R Series
- ThinkPad T Series
- ThinkPad W Series
- ThinkPad X Series
- Apply any applicable system registry update to your system:
- Download and apply the following registry file.
