Access Connections incorrectly reports the wireless mode for Access Points - ThinkPad

Symptom

When using the Find WLAN button with details, the wireless mode would be incorrectly listed if Access Points with the same SSID had different wireless modes. (Some being 802.11g and other being 802.11a for example)

Affected configurations

All ThinkPads running on Microsoft Windows Vista configured with ThinkVantage Access Connections may be affected by this symptom.

Solution

Upgrade to Access Connections 5.20 or higher for Windows Vista.
