How to access the BIOS - Value Line notebooks

The following button will identify your current BIOS version in a pop up window.
Note: It may take several seconds to gather your BIOS version information. No information will be sent back to Lenovo. This button will only work with Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, ME, and 98Se.

The following table lists the actions that need to be taken to enter the BIOS area of the Value Line notebook.

Press the Lenovo Care button when the message "To interrupt normal startup, press the Lenovo Care button " is displayed to enter the ThinkVantage Rescue and Recovery workspace, then click Access BIOS. The system restart required window is displayed. Click Yes. The system restarts, and the BIOS Utility screen opens.
Note: Pressing F1 while the initilal screen is displayed will also open the BIOS Utility screen.
