This package applies to systems configured with the HLDS DH10N SATA DVD-ROM drive that have been updated from Windows XP or Windows Vista to Windows 7. If your computer already came preloaded with Windows 7, you do not need this upgrade.

Note: This firmware upgrade requires the system to be restarted. The flash utility requires Administrator rights to run. We recommend you close all applications and save your data prior to upgrading the firmware. Do not power-down or restart your system while the firmware upgrade is in progress.

This package applies to the following systems configured with the HLDS DH10N SATA DVD-ROM drive that have been updated from Windows XP or Windows Vista to Windows 7:

Downloading the update
  1. Click the file link to download the dh10m_0m10.exe file from the Web page.
  2. When prompted, select a drive and folder in which to save the downloaded file.
Installing the update
  1. Go to the folder where you saved dh10m_0m10.exe.
  2. Double-click on the dh10m_0m10 icon.
  3. The firmware update will proceed automatically.
  4. When it is complete, you will be prompted to reboot your computer.
  5. The firmware update will take effect after your computer reboots.
