Fan locations based on Fan status shown in System Summary in the Lenovo BIOS Setup Utility - ThinkCentre M90z

A post fan error 0135 occurs during POST but the user is unsure which of the three fan locations the error code references.

Solution

To identify which FAN is failing, enter BIOS Setup Utility > System Summary, then check Fan 1/Fan 2/Fan 3 status (Operating, Not Operating). In case "Fan 3 Not Operating," physical location is in the Power Supply Unit.
