1. Turn the machine off.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
3. Remove the main battery.

Memory removal movie

To install the memory:

1. Tilt the DIMM, and insert it into the socket.
2. Push down until the DIMM snaps into place.
3. Insert the access panel, and tighten the captive screw.
