Before you begin

1. Turn the machine off.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
3. Remove the main battery.

Memory installation movie

To remove the memory:

1. Loosen the captive screw on the access panel, and lift off the panel.
2. Release the latches and lift the DIMM out.
3. Place the memory on an ESD mat or a static sensitive bag.
