Your computer is installed with the Windows 7 SP1 operating system. You have established a peer-to-peer connection between your computer and another computer using a LAN cable. Each of the two computers has obtained a dynamic IP address, which is in the 169.254.x.x format. You access the other computer using its IP address and transfer files from the computer to yours. In this scenario, you might receive a "0x0000007F" error. This is caused by the Windows Hotfix KB979612, which is integrated on the Windows 7 SP1 operating system. Microsoft released hotfix KB2519736 to solve this issue. Please click here for more information. |
