Help Center could not work properly without Access Help
Symptom

When the user opens system Help Center, in the default Learn about your computer window, under each heading, no subtopics are shown. (This is because Access Help is not installed.)

Affected configurations

All systems without Access Help installed.

Solution

There are three solutions to this problem:

  1. For multilingual preload systems, by default Access Help is not installed. Users can click the Install other Applications icon on the desktop, select Access Help, click Next and follow the instructions to install Access Help.
  2. Navigate to C:\swtools\apps\ahlp, then double-click setup.exe to manually install Access Help.
  3. Go to http://www.lenovo.com/support. According to your machine type, select your product in the drop-down list box, then select the Family, Type, Model, and Operating system in the drop down list box. Click Continue. Click Downloads and drivers. Click the Access Help for your version. Click the EXE file and download.

Note: Lenovo supports only English and Japanese versions of Access Help on the Web site.
