Symptom

Logon Settings screen of ThinkVantage Client Security Solution (CSS) version 6, may show "No fingerprint sensor detected", when attempting to select fingerprint logon interface.

Affected configurations

Any ThinkPad or ThinkCentre system with CSS version 6 running Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows 2000.

Solution

ThinkVantage Client Security Solution version 6 requires Fingerprint Software version 4.6 or later.
