Solution

Download the latest SoundMax audio driver.

Uninstall the current SoundMax audio driver using the Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.
1. In Control panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
2. Highlight the SoundMax audio driver and click on the Remove button.
3. Close the Add or Remove Programs and close Control Panel.
Shut down and restart the system.
Follow the extracting and installation instructions on the driver download page to install the audio driver.
