Symptom

After LCD replacement, the LCD appears dim.

Affected configurations

The following ThinkPad systems:

T400s
T410s

Solution

Replace the planar as a fuse has probably blown during the LCD replacement process. Pay close attention to ESD procedures for all repairs involving electronic componets.
