Clearwire WiMax support in Access Connections - ThinkPad
Symptom

When using an Intel WiMax card and Access Connections, unable to connect to Clearwire WiMax.

Affected configurations

All ThinkPads running on Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows XP configured with ThinkVantage Access Connections and the following devices may be affected by this symptom:

  • Intel WiMax 5150 card
  • Intel WiMax 5350 card
Solution

In order for the Intel WiMax card to connect to the Clearwire network, you must update Access Connections and the drivers according to the Operating System installed.
