When attempting to use 802.1x over Ethernet with the Thinkpad USB Port Replicator with Digital Video, the connection will fail to authenticate.

Any Thinkpad system using the Thinkpad USB Port Replicator with Digital Video (Part Number 45K1610):

• ThinkPad T400, T400s, T410, T410s, T500, T510
  
• ThinkPad W500, W510, W700, W701

• ThinkPad X200, X200s, X200 Tablet, X201, X201s, X201 Tablet
• ThinkPad X300, X301

Use the Thinkpad's native Ethernet connector instead. The Thinkpad USB Port Replicator with Digital Video does not support 802.1x over Ethernet.
