The following systems with ThinkVantage Fingerprint software running Microsoft Windows Vista may be affected by this symptom:

  • ThinkPad R60
  • ThinkPad T43, T43p
  • ThinkPad T60, T60p
  • ThinkPad X41, X41 Tablet
  • ThinkPad X60, X60s
  • ThinkPad Z60m, Z60t
  • ThinkPad Z61t, Z61m, Z61p

Solution
Download and install the latest ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software.

Additional information
The Windows XP Fingerprint software is incompatible with Windows Vista and therefore not supported.
