Symptom
A blue screen error will occur if you boot into the IBM Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore environment from DVD-RAM media.

Affected configuration
IBM systems supported by IBM Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore, running Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows XP, configured with IBM Rapid Restore Ultra where you created your bootable Recovery, Rescue, and/or Backup media on a DVD-RAM disk.

Solution
Use CD or DVD media other than DVD-RAM to create your boot media when doing your Rescue and Recovery and/or backup.
