After closing LCD and re-opening the lid on a system connected to an external display device, the display does not return to LCD.

Affected configurations

Any of the following systems with ATI graphics running Microsoft Windows Vista:

ThinkPad R60
ThinkPad T60
ThinkPad T60p
ThinkPad Z61m
ThinkPad Z61p

Solution

Update to ATI Vista driver Version: 8.383.1.1-070621a-049739C released 2007/09/04 or later.
