Bluetooth LED is on even though the machine does not have a Bluetooth card - ThinkPad R61, R61i
Symptom

On a computer without the Bluetooth card installed, the bluetooth LED may be on.

Affected configurations

The following ThinkPad systems may be affected by this symptom.

  • R61 14.1 inch widescreen models without IEEE 1394
  • R61 15.4 inch widescreen models
  • R61i 14.1 inch widescreen models without IEEE 1394
  • R61i 15.4 inch widescreen models
Solution

Update to BIOS version 1.27 or later.
