IBM Rescue and Recovery™ with Rapid Restore™ - System may suspend before backup to the optical media is finished

Symptom
Backing up to optical media (especially DVD) can take considerable time. If the system does not recognize this as activity, it may go to suspend or hibernate.

Affected configuration
IBM systems supported by IBM Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore, running Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP, configured with IBM Rapid Restore Ultra

Solution
If this occurs, you will have to restart your backup. You can avoid this problem by temporarily changing your power scheme.
